Escapadou Website

L’Escapadou is a perfect blend of the past and the present. Original parts of the home date back to the 13th Century, when Templar Nights roamed the cobble-stoned streets of Medieval Cordes. Over time the home has seen things we can only imagine. Today, L’ Escapadou is owned by a French/Australian couple who use the home throughout the year but are based in Melbourne. The home has been beautifully restored to incorporate ruins from buildings that once stood, to now a light filled home set over 3 levels, perfectly perched on the hill and 5 minutes by foot to all amenities.
